Who we are
Built for this
Volkom is a boutique software engineering company based in California, with a delivery team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We met most of our clients automating a process, and ended up building a good deal more than that. Our founders have each spent 30+ years building technology for organizations that need things to actually work, not just look good in a deck.
We're 35+ engineers, product people, business people and problem-solvers. We got into this because we like things that work, and because almost every company is full of work nobody should be doing by hand. We don't do one-off projects and disappear.
The Volkom Manifesto
We do automation, software development, and systems integration. The goal is always the same: get from "we're looking into it" to "it's running in production."
Technology is useful when it makes your people better at their jobs. That's it.
Why we exist
Almost every company has a process someone does by hand because there was never time to fix it. And almost every one has a system that no longer holds up, but replacing it is frightening. We come in through the first and stay for the second.
Where we're going
We want to be the team companies call when they need something to actually run in production. Software that does the job and holds up.
What we do
We build software that makes a difference you can measure.
Our Philosophy
Technology should solve real problems, not create complexity.
Whatever tool fits
If the process needs to understand text, we use a language model. If twenty lines of code solve it, we write twenty lines of code. And we say which one it is.
Business value over hype
We measure what we build by revenue, time saved, and better decisions.
Engineering excellence
An agent is only as good as the architecture underneath it. We take the infrastructure seriously.
Partnership mindset
We work as part of your team, not as an outside vendor. If we built it, we stand behind it.
We're engineers, business people, and problem-solvers. We like work you can measure: a process that used to take four hours and now takes eight seconds.
Every process you take out of manual work is time your team spends on something else. That advantage compounds.
We build it, we run it, we answer for it.
